Why did we create our shampoos?

When you share your home with two Pomeranians, you quickly realise that choosing a shampoo isn't just about a clean, nice-smelling coat.

Bert and Hugo have dense double coats, and their skin needs thoughtful, gentle care. That's why I didn't want to simply pick the first product off the shelf for them. I was looking for a shampoo that would remove dirt effectively, rinse out well and leave their skin and coat soft, airy and well cared for after bathing.

But I couldn't find a product I truly trusted.

I didn't want harsh cleansers, intense fragrances or a long list of ingredients with no real purpose. I wanted to understand what I was putting on their skin – and why every single ingredient was in the formula.

When quality comes first

So I started researching ingredients, comparing formulas and developing and testing my own shampoos. They came together slowly – through countless trials, adjustments and improvements.

During development, the lowest price or the fastest route to a finished product was never what mattered most. What mattered most was quality, effectiveness and a good feeling after bathing.

I wanted to create products I would use on Bert and Hugo without a second thought – and offer to your dog with the same confidence.

Our first two rituals for different needs

Every formula has its purpose and every ingredient its job. Our shampoos are handmade in Slovenia in small batches, with great care at every single step.

Because for Bert and Hugo, I didn't want just another shampoo. I wanted care I could trust.
